Rich has more than 30 years of public accounting taxexperience prior to joining Wright Ford Young & Company in 2012. His experience includes over 20 years managing his Orange County tax and business advisory CPA firm, preceded by 5 years with KPMG in both the Orange County and San Francisco offices.
Rich specializes in strategic tax planning and financial management services to privately held businesses, consulting to high net worth individuals, integration of family and business tax affairs, family succession planning, and estate and gift tax planning.
Rich serves a wide variety of industries including real estate and construction, professional service firms, distribution and manufacturing.

A dual citizen of the United States and Switzerland, Rich enjoys traveling extensively. He and his wife Susan have twin boys and reside in Bar Harbor, Maine. Rich enjoys golfing, skiing (before tax season), dining out and hiking. He developed his entrepreneurial spirit early in life through family owned restaurants and is an excellent chef.
Rich serves Inland Connections, a service provider for senior transportation, and Teen Challenge Maine, a biblical based life changing hope for addicts and their families.
