Bob founded Wright Ford Young & Co. in 1974. He retired as managing director in 2017 and currently is involved with the firm as a Tax Partner
Bob is primarily involved in the management service area of the practice. He actively consults with clients regarding strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, and planning regarding major transactions. He has served on several of the firm’s client advisory boards and has been involved in client acquisition and divesture activities domestically as well as internationally.
Bob enjoys hiking, particularly in the Sierras, walking, and playing golf (poorly). He is the father of four and grandfather of five. He and his wife, Nancy, live in Dana Point. Bob is a member of Coast Hills Church.
Bob has acted in the past as treasurer of The Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach and Pathway School, a school dedicated to helping children with special learning difficulties. He is currently a board member on the Keith and Judy Swayne Family Foundation and the treasurer of Laurie Schoendorfer Endowment For Education. The Endowment fund provides education grants to needy participants, worldwide, that had previously been immobile due to a lack of wheelchair availability
