Hani joined Wright Ford Young & Co. in 2006. He leads the firm’s international tax practice and is heavily involved in both the manufacturing as well as the food & restaurant industry.

In order to provide the best advice possible, Hani strives to understand his clients’ businesses in order to tailor those tax efficient strategies to them.

Professional Experience

Hani specializes in providing tax compliance and tax efficient strategies to closely held family owned businesses. Since starting his career in 1993 with a national firm, Hani has helped many companies and their owners take advantage of tax credits and incentives as well as develop tax efficient strategies to help minimize taxes upon either sale of the company or succession planning for the next generation.

Hani has also helped companies take advantage of new tax laws including accounting methods, targeted hiring credits, research and development credits, exporters specialized deductions, and federal production and hiring incentives.

Thought Leadership


Hani is married to his wife Marie and have two teenage boys. He was born and raised in Egypt before moving to Southern California in 1984. He collects stamps and coins and is considered a specialist in Egyptian stamps. He also enjoys traveling to national parks with his family.

Hani serves as treasurer for his sons’ swim team and also served as his church’s treasurer for three years. He is also part of Wright Ford Young & Co.’s charitable giving committee. He also served as chief of his boys’ Indian Guides group and coached both of them in youth sports for several seasons.
