Tim Smith joined Wright Ford Young & Co. in May 2026 and currently serves as the firm’s newest Audit Partner. He provides audit and assurance services for a variety of industries as well as training and mentoring other team members.
Professional Experience
Tim started his career with a large international firm, where he spent 12 years serving clients in various industries ranging from closely held family owned business to large public companies.
Tim has focused primarily in manufacturing and distribution, retail, consumer products, professional services and construction. He has extensive experience working with privately held companies where he provides expertise and insight into complex accounting matters related to consolidations, business combinations, revenue recognition involving multiple performance obligations, debt modifications, estimates, and valuations.
Tim also has experience assisting clients with accounting systems, internal controls establishment and obtaining bank financing.
