Bill Torres
Bill Torres joined Wright Ford Young & Co. as a Tax Partner with more than four decades of experience in public accounting, tax, and financial advisory services. Since beginning his career in 1985, he has advised individuals, closely held businesses, fiduciaries, and estates on complex domestic and international tax matters, with deep expertise spanning compliance, planning, controversy, and transactional consulting.
Before joining WFY, Bill founded and operated his own firm for 30 years through experience developed in accounting and auditing at Coopers & Lybrand, where he served clients in the manufacturing, financial, and retail sectors, and later having joined Kenneth Leventhal & Company, focusing on the tax aspects of real estate development and operations, and has since played a key role in guiding clients through mergers and acquisitions.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (Accounting) from California State University, Fullerton, a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University, and a Certificate in International Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. He serves as an adjunct professor of corporate and international taxation at the Cal State University Fullerton graduate level program
He is a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and holds the CPA/PFS credential. Bill has been widely recognized for both professional excellence and community leadership, including honors from the California Society of CPAs, the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles, and the Latin Business Association, which named his firm Business of the Year.
Aurora Hernandez
Aurora Hernandez joined WFY in January as a Tax Director. She graduated from CSU Fullerton with a Master’s degree in Taxation, and has been working in public accounting for almost 18 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
Natalia Ladovirova
This month, Natalia Ladovirova joined our firm as a Tax Manager. She graduated from San Jose State University with an MBA in Finance. During her career, she served 6 years in the private sector and 18 years in public accounting. Outside of the office, Natalia enjoys traveling, hiking, and skiing.
Jimmy Serrano
Jimmy Serrano joined WFY as a Tax Manager in our tax department.
Valeria Barinova
In January, Valeria Barinova joined WFY as an Estates & Trusts Manager in our estates & trusts department. As a UCLA School of Law graduate and licensed California attorney, she brings nearly 20 years of expertise from the Fiduciary Tax Department at the Wells Fargo Bank. In her leisure time, she energizes at the gym, dances, and enjoys LA Opera.
Jamar Crew
At the beginning of January, Jamar Crew joined our estates and trusts department as an Estates & Trusts Tax Supervisor.
Brandon Martinez
Along with Jamar, Brandon also joined our estates and trusts department as an Estates & Trusts Tax Supervisor.
Michael Schwartz
Michael Schwartz started at WFY as an Estates & Trusts Supervisor this month. Michael graduated Queens College in Flushing, NY and has worked in public accounting over 20 years. He has extensive experience with ultra-high net worth clients. In his spare time, Michael is looking for opportunities to write and produce his screenplay and enjoys bowling.
Araceli Perez Romero
In January, Araceli Perez Romero joined WFY as a Tax Senior. She graduated from CSU Fullerton with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and has over 16 years of experience in accounting. Araceli’s hobbies include watchings sports and spending time with family.
Priscila Perez
Priscila Perez joined WFY as a Tax Senior at the beginning of January. She graduated from CSU Dominguez Hills with a degree in Business Adminstration concentrating in Accounting. Priscila interned with Bill Torres & Company during college, worked at a mid-tier accounting firm after college, and later returned to Bill Torres & Company. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her two dogs, relaxing, and watching TV with her husband.
Silvia Pagan
This month, Silvia Pagan joined our firm as our Office Manager for our new Cerritos location.
Claire Rappaport
Mid-January, Claire Rappaport started at WFY as Tax Staff in our tax department. She graduated from CSU Fullerton at the end of 2025 with her M.S. in Accountancy. Claire previously interned with our firm last year and accepted a full-time position with WFY. In her spare time, she loves traveling and hiking.
Stephanie Weng
Stephanie Weng joined our tax department as Tax Staff earlier this month. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Cal Poly Pomona and received her Master’s degree in Taxation from CSU Fullerton. Stephanie has interned with WFY prior to her full-time position and has worked full-time in bookkeeping at a previous company. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys traveling and working out.
Tracey Le
This month, Tracey Le started at WFY as an Estates & Trusts Tax Staff in our estates and trusts department. Tracey graduated from CSU Long Beach in Mathematics with a minor in Finance. She then pivoted to accounting and is currently working on her CPA license. After interning with WFY last year, Tracey accepted a full-time position with our firm. Tracey’s hobbies include trying new coffee shops and restaurants, and going on hikes.
Valeria Torres
Mid-January, Valeria Torres started with our firm as a Tax Intern in our tax department. She’s currently attending CSU Fullerton and studying for her B.A. in Accounting. This is Valeria’s second internship with WFY. During her spare time, she enjoys baking, reading, and watching movies.
Lina Kim
Lina Kim joined our firm as a Tax Intern in our tax department. She is currently a senior at CSU Fullerton and pursuing her degree in Accounting. Outside of work, Lina enjoys traveling and photography.
Simran Bhogle
In January, Simran Bhogle started as a Tax Intern in our tax department. Simran is currently a junior at CSU Fullerton and majoring in Accounting. Outside school and work, Simran enjoys playing cricket, reading, and going on walks in nature with her dog, a Golden Retriever named Stella.
Ky Khu Vu
Ky Khu Vu started this month as a Tax Intern in our tax department. Ky is attending CSU Fullerton and majoring in BA Accounting and Minor in Business Data Analysis. Outside of the office, Ky plays golf and works out almost everyday.
Brandon Lua-Gudino
Brandon Lua-Gudino joined WFY in January as a Tax Intern. He will be graduating from CSU Fullerton at the end of this semester and focusing on Taxation. During Brandon’s free time, he loves listening to music, playing soccer, working on his car, traveling, and investing in the stock market and gold.
